- Thanks for the suggestions! The M2 upgrade product is only applicable to
- existing 3DO Multiplayer products. That's the target market for the product
- right now.
-
- Your suggestion about an Amiga product is a good one. In fact, several
- members of the original Amiga team are here at 3DO. However, we have not
- found a hardware partner company that is willing to create products for that
- market. The 3DO Company is a technology licensing company that invents the
- technology and then licenses it to a hardware manufacturer. Until we find
- someone who is serious about an Amiga-based product, then we don't have a
- solution. I will pass your idea on to the licensing group, however.

- Thanks again,

- Hello Neal!
-
- My name is Tuomas Huovinen, and I'd like to know is this "M2" upgrade an
- independent system which will run games without 3DO system if there's just
- source for data and output devices available.
-
- What I'm thinking about is that since 3DO blaster was once available on PC
- market could someone produce "M2" board for Amiga? Personally I think this
- is good idea!
-
- 1. Since almost all people who are left on Amiga are bored with games which
- cannot compete with the latest PC games many people would buy such
- accelerator with good games!
-
- 2. Amigapeople are known as wild programmers and good hackers, this M2
- add-on could provide a low-cost solution to get new programmers for
- 3DO market.
-
- 3. This "M2" board could be very cheap since I'm 100% sure that all CD
- access could be transferred through Amigas own Zorro-2(3) interface!
- So no need to pack custom CD rom drive!
-
- Yours sincerely,
-
- Tuomas Huovinen
